LEGAL / PRIVACY
Privacy Policy
RankPulse privacy policy.1. Information We Collect
RankPulse collects your email address and service usage records. When paid checkout becomes available, payment information is processed by the contracted payment provider.
2. How We Use Your Information
Collected information is used for service delivery and improvement, analysis of service usage and website traffic, account management, payment processing, and customer support. We do not use your information for marketing without your explicit consent.
3. External Service Providers
When paid checkout becomes available, we share the minimum information required with the contracted payment provider. The personal information processing arrangement for payment integration in that case is as follows. Data processor: Korea PortOne. Entrusted task: Provision of payment integration services. We use Google Analytics by Google and Vercel Web Analytics by Vercel to analyze service usage and website traffic. Each provider processes the related information as described below. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Upon an account deletion request, account information will be deleted within 30 days. Data required by law will be retained only for the legally mandated period. Analytics data follows the retention practices described below.
5. Analytics Services and Retention
Google Analytics analyzes service usage and website traffic, including page views. According to Google's documentation, it processes page-view information such as page URLs and titles and uses first-party cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. Cookie expiration and data retention on Google's servers are separate. See the Google Privacy Policy for more information about Google's data processing.
The RankPulse Google Analytics settings verified on October 4, 2026 retain event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months, with the user-data retention period reset on new user activity. These settings do not apply to standard aggregated reports and do not mean that all analytics data is deleted after those periods. See Google's data retention documentation for details.
Vercel Web Analytics analyzes page-view statistics. According to Vercel's documentation, it may process page URLs, referrers, visit timestamps, and device and browser information. It does not use analytics cookies. It distinguishes visitors using a hash generated from the request and discards visitor-session identification information after 24 hours.
The 24-hour period is not a deletion deadline for all statistics. The current Hobby plan's 1-month reporting window is a guaranteed storage and viewing period; Vercel may retain statistical data for longer. See Vercel's reporting window documentation for details.
6. Your Controls over Analytics Collection
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies alone does not stop cookie-free Vercel Web Analytics. Browser content-blocking tools may restrict analytics scripts or requests, but support varies by browser and tool, and some service features may be affected.
